'Either way you turn, I'll be there, open up your scull. Climbing up the walls'
I've worked on this piece for like 2 days. I've been suffering from insomnia so when everyone was asleep I got out of bed and started on this. It's made with Cinema 4d and Photoshop CS2.
Concept:
The name stands for the fact that either way I turn myself around in bed, I still can't sleep. I keep thinking about things and everything in my rooms reminds me of something, so I can't escape it. Either way I turn, it's there. It's like the insomnia is repeating that all the time: 'Either way you turn, I'll be there.' The object tries to climb out of a whole, climbing up a wall. I want to go to sleep, but I just can't, don't ask me why, cause I don't know. The colors are pretty basic, I gave it a red glow to make it look more organic than it already was, the color red stands for flesh/human, it's all inside my mind, it's psychical. As for the render I've chosen to make it look like a worm and gave it an organic structure cause Insomnia feels like a disease, like a worm crawled into my brain and now it's driving me insane.
(Most of you know that I suck at explaining concepts, but I thought I'd give it a try to explain why I made this piece like this.)
